'What is God?' That's a different question than 'Who is God?' - yet, the answers intersect. God is one: one voice, one sound, one essence. God is that which created creation. In fact, God is the structuring principle of reality.
Can God, being God, multiply or expand? Certainly, but only as and into that which God is. God is life, so life can multiply. God is light, so light can expand. God is love, so God must reproduce.
No, God is not personal, yet, God is a person. (You're sitting next to them. Oh, and you blocked them on FB, too.) No, God is not afar off, yet, God is millions of miles away. No, God is not complex, yet, God's simplicity confounds the masses.
